Dopo qualche giorno le porte USB non hanno piu’ funzionato.
Un must pour travailler au bureau sur votre PC portable comme sur un PC fixe : internet, enceinte USB, casque filaire, clavier, souris, tablette graphique, 2 écrans en hdmi, tout ça sur votre station d’accueil. Vous avez juste à brancher un câble sur votre PC portable pour avoir accès à un véritable PC fixe et tout le confort que cela peut apporter quand vous travaillez de longues heures derrière un (ou deux) écrans. La carte graphique est correcte. Un vrai bonheur. Je n’ai qu’à débrancher juste un câble pour embarquer mon pc portable.
Por motivos laborales uso un portátil Windows y un Macbook Air M1. Para poder usar dos monitores con escritorio extendido, necesitas una dock con DisplayLink. Además buscaba que admitiera carga con más de 100W para que el PC Windows no se quejara en exceso. Y a ser posible que tuviera muchas opciones para la conectividad. Esta dock tiene todo lo que necesito.La dock tiene un tamaño no muy grande y el cargador de corriente tampoco es descomunal por lo que puedes tener un escritorio bastante ordenado y con bastante espacio.Decir que el material de la dock es plastico, no se calienta con el uso.Por la parte delantera tienes un mini jack de audio, dos puertos USB-A y un puerto USB-C.En la parte trasera está el conector de red, dos conectores DisplayPort, un conector HDMI que se combina con el segundo DisplayPort (sólo se puede usar uno de los dos), dos puestos USB-A, el puerto USB-C que va al ordenador y otro puerto USB-C para el Power Delivery. A la derecha de todo está el interruptor de encendido y apagado.A nivel conectividad, perfecto. Se conecta todo, se enciende y todo funciona, los sistemas operativos lo detectan todo sin ningún problema.Lo único que hay que instalar el los equipos es el software de DisplayLink. Una vez instalado se ve todo sin ningún problema. El software tiene algunas opciones de configuración en Windows y en Mac. Importante instalar la versión Mac para la versión que tengamos, en el caso de Sonoma, estoy usando la versión beta pero sin ningún problema, pero añade opciones como el poder desbloquear el equipo usando un Apple Watch (no funcionaba en la versión anterior).Decir que se trata de una solución muy completa y totalmente funcional. Muy recomendable y a un precio muy competitivo.

Hatte zuvor eine Dockingstation eines anderen Herstellers, die ich aber nach gut einem Jahr zurücksenden musste, weil sich der Rechner immer unkontrolliert heruntergefahren hat und das eindeutig auf einen Defekt hingedeutet hat. Hatte aber mit der Rückgabe und Erstattung des Kaufpreises keinerlei Probleme.Die WAVLINK macht einen hochwertigeren Eindruck (Gewicht und Produktverpackung). Wenn nichts dazwischen kommt, behalte ich sie gerne. Einzige kleine Schwäche, das Verbindungskabel hätte ein wenig länger sein dürfen und meinetwegen 1 Euro mehr verlangen. So muss ich das anderweitig besorgen.
I bought this dock as I had some old monitors to connect t a laptop to create a 2nd smaller workstation. After some web searching including looking at similar items from other brands including known computer manufacturers, this was clearly the answer. There are more than enough USB ports both USB 2.0 and 3.0, an HDMI and display (DVI) port, ethernet and so on. They key is to download the display driver software, make sure you have the requisite cables, and the unit is truly plug and play and allow you to create a mini-workstation from any device that has a USB port – I’m currently running this off an old Surface 4 which only has one USB port and a mini display port so has expanded it’s capacity tremendously; additional USB drives can be simply added on.Importantly, if there are any glitches the support team (based in China) are very helpful and prompt in general.A superb bit of kit and one of my best buys in 2022!
Expensive device but definitely the best solution for multiple screen issues found with the new macbooks.Super easy to install, just plug all your devices to the deck and connect the deck to your machine. You have the option to connect to your machine via USB or USB type C. Versatile and practical.For better use you need to install the display link app on your laptop. Once this is installed and detects the deck your laptop will be able to share with 2 external monitor while preserving the independent visualization on each screen. No delays and no issues with image clarity.This was the only solution for M1 chip macs that wont display in multiple screens. The one thing to note is that video streaming is no supported with safari when in this sharing mode. However, if you change and use firefox for the streaming the problem is solved and you can keep all your screens plus your streaming or live tv.Totally worth the price. The keyboard works smooth and same the mouse. Now everything is connected to the deck which leaves one of the usb type c ports free to charge your laptop.
