Da dieses im Gegensatz zu anderen Docks nicht fest installiert ist, kann es Problemlos bei Beschädigung ersetzt werden.Handhabung:Die Handhabung ist einfach, man steckt das USB-C Kabel an das entsprechende Endgerät und schon ist dieses um 12 Ausgänge erweitert.Die Dockingstation habe ich via  USB-Adapterkabel USB A/ Buchse zu Micro USB/ Buchse + Micro USB/ OTG-Stecker sowie einen USB-A/C Adapter mit einem FiveTV Stick 4K Max verbunden der dort einwandfrei funktioniert und den Stick um 4 USB Slots , einem Ethernetanschluà und einen SD/TF Kartenslot erweitert . Da der FireTV Stick 4K Max und der Fire TV Cube das gleiche Fire OS7.XX verwendet, kann ich den Fire TV Stick 4K Max mit dieser Dockingstation für halben Preis eines Fire TV Cube, fast zu einem dem Fire TV Cube gleichwertigen Gerät hochrüsten. Dank des Fire OS 7 können Apps wie bei einem Smartphone auf Speicherkarten oder Speichersticks ausgelagert werden zudem kann man mit dem entsprechenden Datei-Manager oder Kodi, Filme von einem USB Stick aus abspielen.Die USB 12 in 1 Dockingstation arbeitet problemlos und zuverlässig mit dem FireTV-Stick 4k Max zusammen. Die Datenübertragung via USB oder Ethernet ist sehr schnell . Tastatur, Maus , USB-Sticks und Speicherkarten werden vom Fire TV Stick 4K Max erkannt und funktionieren.Preis/Leistungsverhältnis:Bei einem Preis von fast 80⬠ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis durchaus angemessen.Fazit:Eine vielseitig einsetzbare Dockingstation die auch mit meinem Fire TVStick 4K Max funktionert. Da es nichts an diesem Gerät auszusetzen gibt, vergebe ich fünf von fünf Sternen.
Ein MacBook kommt mit sehr wenigen Anschlüssen daher und damit wäre so ein âPort-Replikatorâ ein obligatorisches Zubehörteil. Meine Tests haben ergeben, dass dieses Gerät zumindest nicht richtig bzw. nicht lange mit einem MacBookAir mit M2 Chip (âApple Siliconâ) unter macOS Ventura funktioniert â auÃer der Stromzufuhr. Auch einen HDMI-Monitor konnte ich anschlieÃen, aber stets nur einen (oder via DisplayPort). Der AUX-Port für Audio wurde nicht erkannt, USB-Geräte auch nicht.An einem MacMini aus 2018 mit Intel i7 CPU funktioniert vieles besser, aber auch kein Multimonitor-Betrieb.An einem Microsoft Surface Laptop war dann auch der Multimonitor-Betrieb im Ereiterungsmodus möglich.Und daher hier nun noch das Grundsätzliche, was aber nicht an allen Hosts funktionieren muss. Meine Wertungssterne vergebe ich vor allem deswegen so rar, weil das Marketing über das Ziel hinausschiesst und ich diesen Adapter nicht sinnvoll an neueren Macs verwenden kann.Generell bietet dieser Adapter so einiges an Schnittstellen, die früher in Laptops eingebaut waren, das Gehäuse jedoch dicker und voluminöser gemacht haben. Der Trend geht also eindeutig zu den Adaptern, die âDockâ genannt werden, wenn so viele Schnittstellen bereitgestellt werden, die man vor allem im Büroumfeld findet. Zum Beispiel eine RJ45- âWesternâ-Buchse für kabelgebundenes Ethernet (âLANâ) mit Gigabit-Geschwindigkeit.Ein USB-C-Anschluà wird nach auÃen geführt und steht allerdings nur für Stromzufuhr zur Verfügung. Anderes Zubehör (z.B. eine SSD) wird an diesem Port nicht erkannt.AuÃerdem mit an Board sind zwei HDMI-Ports sowie ein DisplayPort-AnschluÃ. Wie erwähnt klappt das Erweitern nur mit einem Monitor an Macs oder MacBooks, was zu einem gewissen Teil auch an diesen Hosts liegen wird.Weitere vier USB-Ports, zwei für 3.2 Gen 1 und zwei für einfache Eingabegeräte wie Mäuse oder Tastaturen sind integriert. AuÃerdem ein Audio-Port, der sogar Lautsprecher und Kopfhörer erkannt hat und damit auch das Mikrophon eines Headsets; gut!Der RJ45-Port (für âWestern-Steckerâ) zum Anschluà an ein Ethernet LAN funktioniert: Link wird durch die orangene LED signalisiert und die grüne LED flackert auch bei Benutzung wie erwartet.Und dann ist noch ein Speicherkartenleser eingebaut, der sich auf SD und microSD-Karten versteht.Weitere Performance-Tests habe ich mir geschenkt, denn Hochleistungskomponenten würde man am besten über Thunderbolt betreiben, z.B. am zweiten freien Port direkt am MacBook oder MacMini. Für Docks mit Thunderbolt muss man viel tiefer in die Tasche greifen.Enttäuscht bin ich jedoch, weil in der Produktbeschreibung sehr deutlich davon gesprochen wurde, dass man mehrere Monitore am Gerät betreiben kann und auch ausdrücklich die Geräte des kalifornischen Herstellers erwähnt wurden. Mir ist es nur gelungen, einen einzigen Schirm zusätzlich zum integrierten HDMI Port des Max zu betreiben. Es gab auch Situationen, da erschien gar kein Bild mehr an den Monitoren.. Mir ist bewusst, dass die Einschränkung nicht zwingend bei diesem Dock liegt, aber sich damit zu schmücken und diese Funktion nicht aus dem PC heraus. Zu kitzeln ist schon mehr als übertriebenes Marketinggetöse.
Der Hub kommt in einem Pappkarton der nochmal mit Folie versiegelt ist. Erstmal wirkt er optisch qualitativ hochwertig und auch von der Verarbeitung. Der zweite Blick offenbart, dass die Anschlüsse nicht maÃgenau alle an den Stellen sitzen wo sie sollten. Sie sind nicht einheitlich, versetzt und in unterschiedlicher Höhe angebracht.Zudem gibt es Probleme mit Macs mit M1, M2 Chip (Apple Silicon). Hier ist ein Dual-Monitor Betrieb nicht immer möglich…Insgesamt für den Preis und die Mankos gebe ich nur 3 von 5 Sternen. Da gibt es deutlich bessere Hubs für 10⬠weniger.
Leider kann man von Haus aus nicht viele Geräte an mein Notebook anschlieÃen. Deshalb kommt man kaum um einen zuverlässigen Hub wie diesen von ESSAGER herum. Aufgesteckt wird der Hub an einem USB-C-Anschluss des Notebooks und man erhält dann im Gegenzug diverse andere, wertvolle Anschlüsse, die sich bislang in der Praxis bewähren konnten.Konkret handelt es sich um folgende Anschlüsse bzw. Eingänge:- 2 x HDMI 2.0 (4K – 60 Hz)- 2 x USB 3.2 (bis zu 5 Gbit/s)- 2 x USB 2.0 (bis zu 480 Mbit/s)- 1 x DP 1.2 (4K – 60 Hz)- 1 x RJ45 (Gigabit Ethernet)- 1 x SD-Steckplatz- 1 x TF-Steckplatz- 1 x 3,5-mm-Klinke Audio- 1 x Ladeanschluss (USB-C – PD 100W)Sowohl das Auslesen und Kopieren der Daten von einer SD-Karte, als auch das ggf. gleichzeitige Kopieren von Daten einer Festplatten stellen kein Problem dar und klappen dabei gewohnt flott. Allerdings habe ich keine Geschwindigkeiten explizit nachgemessen habe. Je nach Arbeitsprozess wird das Gerät dabei dann auch wärmer (aber nicht übermäÃig heiÃ). Somit kann z. B. auch mein 4K-Beamer mittels HDMI-Kabel z. B. mit 4K (3.840 x 2.160) versorgt werden.Wer im stationären Bereich gerne mittels LAN-Kabel (Powerline) arbeitet, muss bei diesem Modell nicht auf einen flotten Gigabit Ethernet-Anschluss (RJ45) verzichten.Der Adapter ist also ein gewisser Allrounder, denn es sind alle gängigen Anschlüsse für ein Notebook vorhanden, wobei auch beim (Auf-)Laden keine Probleme auftreten. Hierbei punkten insbesondere auch die beiden HDMI-Anschlüsse, die zwei Monitore ansprechen können, wobei zusätzlich sogar noch ein Display Port (DP)-Anschluss an Bord ist.Schade: Es wird weder eine âQualitätsgarantieâ ausgesprochen, noch eine âechteâ Garantie (z. B. 12 Monate), unabhängig davon, wie sich das ggf. in der Praxis dann darstellen würdeâ¦Fazit: Auch qualitativ eine sinnvolle Anschaffung, zumal mein Notebook leider kein Anschlusswunder ist. Eine Ãberlastung mit nennenswerten Einschränkungen bei der Gesamtperformance konnte ich bislang nicht feststellen. Die allgemeine Wärmeentwicklung werde ich insbesondere im kommenden Sommer weiter beobachtenâ¦aktuell gibt es vier Sterne, zumal auch die schicke Optik und einwandfreie Verarbeitung der Docking Station im ansprechenden Aluminiumgehäuse stimmen.
Bei der erstmaligen Verwendung hat das Produkt nicht funktioniert! Garantiefall. Kaufkoste 89,99 â¬. Ich bekam nur knappe 70 ⬠erstattet? Wo bleibt die Differenz?????
